Andrew Morton

Andrew Morton is the Behavior Coordinator for Willard School district in Willard, MO. He was a Special Education teacher in Willard for 8 years assisting students with emotional and behavior disorders. He then went to Nixa Public School as a Behavior Interventionist, helping to build Multi-tiered Systems of Support at the Intermediate level. Andrew then began working with local non-profit, Arc of The Ozarks as a Behavior Consultant. In this role, he would help train and provide programming to direct care staff working within group homes serving adults with multiple disabilities.  

Andrew is a husband and father of 5. He also stays very busy playing fiddle in a regional bluegrass band. Andrew has had experience working with kindergarten up to adults but feels he specializes in elementary to middle school ages. Within all of his roles, it is evident Andrew is a creative problem solver. He is not afraid to do the right thing for students and teachers no matter how difficult the road may be. Andrew has a passion to support teachers and in his current role, he works daily to build capacity in others to help them handle problematic behaviors. His presentations are full of helpful ways to look at behavior with how-to’s on what to dos.
