Eighth Annual Richard L. Simpson Conference on Autism

Important Update — September 22, 2026

The Simpson Autism Conference Planning Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s conference that was to be held, October 15-16, 2026 in Overland Park, Kansas. 

Due to the current level of registration, we are unable to provide the engaging environment of learning, connection, exchange, and networking that we want the Simpson Conference to offer. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding.

If you are looking for professional development opportunities, we would consider it a privilege to have you join us for the 2027 MSLBD Symposium, February 25–27, 2027, at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.

The 2027 Symposium is a two-and-a-half-day event featuring:

• More than 40 sessions from which to choose, Symposium Flyer
• Up to 14 BCBA CEUs, BCBA Sessions at the Symposium
• A broad range of topics, including autism, for educators and behavior professionals
• Opportunities to connect and learn with colleagues from across the region
