Stephanie Kopecky, M.Ed.

Stephanie Kopecky is a K-8 Essentials teacher at a Level III placement for special education in LaVista, NE for ESU #3. She has taught for over 16 years in special education, including 14 years as an Elementary Resource Teacher in a public school setting in Omaha, NE. Stephanie graduated in 2005 from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and completed a graduate program at Concordia University in Nebraska, in 2013 with a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis on K-12 Reading Instruction. Stephanie has presented at the Nebraska ASD Network State Conference with her teaching partner Kristen McKearney. She has a passion for all things behavior and social skills, while continuing to develop an innovative program supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
