Stacy Hirt, Ph.D.
Stacy M. Hirt, Ph.D. is a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). She serves as a knowledge development researcher for the PROGRESS Center. In this role, she supports policy scans, literature reviews, site visits, and focus groups for stakeholders implementing high-quality educational programming. In addition, she supports knowledge development and products for the National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII). In this role, she supports technical reviews of screening tools and interventions, and product development and dissemination. Prior to joining AIR, Stacy was an OSEP-funded Project PRISM interdisciplinary scholar at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the Department of Special Education. Stacy has over 16 years of special education field and leadership experience (K-12).
