Sallye Lee
Sallye Lee is an elementary special education teacher working an Educational Service Unit (ESU #3) in Omaha, NE. She works in a contracted placement for kids who have been removed from their public school for significant behavioral challenges. She taught special education for 12 years as a resource teacher in public school. Prior to teaching, she & her husband were family teachers at Boys Town for 8 years, living with and teaching at-risk teenage girls. Recently, she and her 4 teaching partners created a company, “Just5Teachers”, in response to overwhelming requests for help in supporting kids with behavior challenges. Sallye loves collaborating with other educators and believes when a group of teachers get together, two things happen: 1. It gets LOUD! 2. It gets DONE!
Sallye has been a member of the MSLBD Master Teacher Project since 2018.
