Malinda Forsberg
Malinda Forsberg, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she teaches courses on co-teaching, collaboration, and classroom management. Prior to earning her doctoral degree in special education teacher education at UW-Madison, Malinda taught in a variety of settings, including an alternative middle school, an international elementary school, and a specialized classroom for students perceived as having behavior disorders. Her research interests are in culturally responsive classroom management, inclusive practices, and teacher self-efficacy. One of Malinda’s professional goals is to support all preservice teachers in finding the joy in connecting with all students, especially those who are often excluded.
Malinda became part of the MSLBD Master Teacher Project in 2017.
